About Sierra
I graduated from Liberty University in 2017 with a Bachelor’s in Interdisciplinary Studies. My concentrations were English and Cinematic Arts. For the last three years I have been a part of the education system as an Instructional Assistant. I’ve seen firsthand the need for lessons in reading comprehension and analysis. If you have a student anywhere between the 4th and 7th grade who needs help with understanding different literary works then I’m here to help.

OVERVIEW & PURPOSE
The purpose of these tutoring sessions is to help students understand what they are reading. No matter if it’s a children’s book, short story or an article, every student has the ability to read and dissect reading material if given the right tools.

To teach students how to identify the who, what, when, where, how, and why in a short story, article, etc.
To teach students how to identify the setting and point of view of a short story, article, etc.
To teach students how to identify the theme of a short story, article, etc.
