About Sandra
I am a Teaching Assistant at the University of California, Merced, where I lead weekly discussion and lab sections for undergraduate courses in international law, international relations, political controversies, and causes and consequences of international conflict. In my sessions, I break complex material into clear steps, check understanding, and help students build confidence through practice, feedback, and respectful, organized support. I also bring strong quantitative skills, including R-based analysis and reproducible reporting, which helps students learn how to think carefully with evidence and communicate results clearly. Before graduate school, I practiced corporate law for several years, so you can expect professional communication, strong attention to detail.
