Graduate from Northern Kentucky University in German Language. Previous experience tutoring adolescents and adults. Will work individually with students to build our approach to practice and study.

Stephen is not only encouraging but also very supportive. Always eager to make sure that others understand to their best ability, and will help break stuff down to help you understand. He is very kind and easy to talk to as well. He never makes anyone feel like less for learning slower. He goes above and beyond to help people understand the language of German, which is refreshing to see as someone who used to use language learning apps. When I had an issue learning about using case in German, he made sure to explain everything and it made so much more sense than it did before, when I was just taking a normal language learning class. Anytime I asked a question, he was quick to answer and help explain in a way that made sense. Not at all making me feel bad, but understanding that I didn’t understand, and he helped me build from there. Stephen has made a huge impact on me and my journey of learning German! He is so helpful and definitely talented when it comes to teaching and tutoring.

Stephen is my brother, and I’ve firsthand been able to witness his discipline in learning German. From years of schooling to hosting exchange students and even visiting Germany twice. He was the ONLY reason I could get by in Germany, and was able to effectively communicate both conversationally and intellectually in German. Outside of learning, he has an amazing personality and is dedicated to helping others. Being taught by Stephen would not only be fun, but would be stimulating and engaging!
