About Jin
I am a recent graduate of NYU and Great Neck South High School, with over five years of collective experience tutoring students at the elementary, middle school, and high school levels. My journey as an educator has included private tutoring as well as working with renowned tutoring academies such as those based in Great Neck and JEI Learning. I specialize in both in-person and remote instruction, tailoring my teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student. I am a positive, consistent, and highly descriptive teacher, dedicated to personalizing my approach to suit each student’s unique learning style. My goal is to foster a supportive and engaging learning environment where students can build confidence, master challenging concepts, and achieve their academic goals.

During the first class, students will be assessed to determine their math level. We will then explore strategies for identifying which mathematical principles to apply to various problems, tackling a range of problems according to grade level. I bring experience as a private math tutor and educator at two academies, including JEI Learning, where I have taught students from elementary to high school levels. My expertise also extends to college-level courses, such as Calculus AB, Organic Chemistry, General Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Physics, and Genetic Variation, as well as research on genetic mutations. I am equipped to teach all math curricula up to high school and high school-level sciences, with the exception of Physics.
