About Ophelia
I have studied French from a very young age, and was lucky to have spent many a childhood holiday in Normandy and in La Charente which helped me fall in love with the language.
I went on to study French at GCSE and at A Level before devoting four years to it at Oxford from 2019 onwards. As part of my degree, I spent a few months in Paris in 2022 as an exchange student whilst living with a French family. I can read and write French to an advanced level, and particularly enjoy translation from English into French as well as continually expanding my vocabulary.

Hello there! I’m Ophelia, I’m 22 years old and living in Suffolk (UK), and I’ve just graduated from Oxford University where I studied French for four years. I’ve always loved languages, but realise that they come with their fair share of challenges. I would love to help you improve your French in whatever way I can, and strive to be as engaging as possible.
I’ve always believed that lessons should be focused, so my typical lesson lasts 45 mins to 1 hour.
I can cater to a wide range of ages and levels, and am very flexible with lesson styles and approaches in order to provide a tailored experience.
