About Shiloh
About Me
Hello! My name is Shiloh, and I am a passionate and dedicated educator with experience teaching ESL and supporting students in elementary subjects including math, language arts, and social studies.
I believe that every student has the ability to succeed with the right support and encouragement. My teaching style focuses on creating a positive, engaging, and structured learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing in confidence. I take pride in being patient, adaptable, and attentive to each student’s individual learning style.
Through my experience working with diverse learners, I have developed the ability to break down complex concepts into simple, understandable steps. I also incorporate interactive activities, educational games, and real-world examples to make lessons both effective and enjoyable.
I am committed to helping students not only improve academically, but also build confidence in their abilities and develop a genuine love for learning. Whether a student needs extra support, skill-building, or enrichment, I strive to provide a professional and supportive experience every step of the way.

My teaching method is differentiation. Let's find out what your needs are and start there. Once we are able to narrow in on your needs then we can decide what works best for you.
Typically, our lessons will start with going over the material that we will be covering. Together we will build a plan that will get you where you need to be.
Once you are done with the lesson you will be knowledgeable and confident to move forward. Lessons can include research, activities, and question and answers. As a student, it is important that you can thoroughly discuss the subject with great detail.
