About Christopher

I have a strong passion for education, development, and self-growth. I make it my primary goal to ensure that each student is learning to the best of their ability. I, myself, am a visual and kinesthetic learner. Much of my classroom instruction is auditory but I love to give examples that visualize the problems and provide opportunities for students to practice. I make it my mission to find a pace that works for and gives each student the best results. I also enjoy a variety of sports, music, video games, and pop culture!

About the lesson

I like to keep each lesson fresh and engaging. At the beginning of class, we will start with some practice problems/activities from the previous or current lesson (bell work). After we complete the bell work, we will start the lesson plan or learning objective for the class period. Depending on the students and environment, I might break the class up into groups for peer feedback & reinforcement. After we discuss the course material and demonstrate understanding, I will assign homework or an assessment to be turned in for the following day or bell work.

My classes have been in the Grades 6-12 range typically. I have tutored as low as Kindergarten as well.
