About Abu

I have a year of tutoring experience in a science classroom. I worked directly with any student who needed an additional assistant but also had a small focus group of 5-10 students in each of my 6 classes. These were the students who needed the most extra help, so I worked with them during class to make sure they didn't fall behind. Additionally, I held tutoring sessions every day after school where students could come for any homework help. In this setting, I tutored not only in algebra but also in Geometry, Biology, and English.

About the lesson

I'm Abu. I graduated from Addis Ababa University with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and from Portland State University in Health Informatics. In college, I realized the classes I appreciated the most were not necessarily the topics I was most interested in. Rather, it was the professors who made the classes enjoyable. These Professors are always engaging and comprehensible when teaching the materials in the classroom, and willing to go the extra mile when asking for additional help for clarification.
