About Grace
I enjoy teaching students as I love to share the Chinese culture to others. I believe Chinese is an important language to learn as it is commonly used around the world. I believe that being able to understand and listen to a language is the key to success in learning the language. With success comes with practice and determination which is what my students will learn from me.

As a Chinese Kiwi, I understand and have experienced the struggles of learning a second language that isn't commonly spoken where you live. I obtained a 6/7 for Chinese SL B in the IB diploma and only Excellence credits in NCEA Chinese.
The length of a lesson can range from half an hour to one hour. Once I can understand your level of Chinese whether you are a beginner or intermediate, I will gradually converse to you in only Chinese during lessons.
We will listen to Chinese recordings of (potentially in different accents too) at different speeds in different topics and will be answering questions to test how well you understood the recording.
My lessons are targeted to students at a beginner level to students at an intermediate or advanced level.
