About Sonam
I began working as a tutor during high school, which is when I first realized I enjoyed assisting students in creating their best work. During college, I worked briefly as a private tutor. When I wasn’t working, I was still helping my peers with their work—editing and revising essays, screenplays, and other forms of writing. Once I had received my undergraduate degree, I went on to be a substitute teacher primarily at a magnet academy where I worked with high schoolers; occasionally, I was sent to elementary schools where I was given the opportunity to work with even younger students, which was new to me but I enjoyed the change. Now I have had experience leading students of a variety of ages and feel confident in my ability to assist students from elementary to college.

I have worked extensively in the realm of academia in the past, including being both a private tutor and a substitute teacher. As a writer, I have had fourteen of my pieces published. Among my published work is poetry, informative news articles, and personal essays.
