About Dawn
Hi everyone! My name is Dawn and I cannot wait to start working with you! I have been singing since I was 3 years old. Through music, I found my confidence and developed lasting abilities that I continue to develop to this day. I have 3 cats and a mini dachshund who I am sure you will hear about often. I sang in Lawrence University's Girl Choir program for 8 years and then went on to college to pursue a Vocal Performance and Pedagogy degree. I am an open book, so please ask questions while we are in lesson! I love to explain vocal health, and why we do things the way we will in lesson!

I always start with a variety of Warm Ups that cater to your specific learning goals. Then, we will talk about how you're vocally feeling and what you felt through the different warm ups we did in lesson. After that, we dive right into music specially selected for your voice type and your personal interest. I believe that EVERYONE can sing, it all depends on how confident you are in yourself. My lessons are accessible for anyone from beginners at 7 years old to adults looking to perfect their craft. I have been singing for as long as I can remember. I love helping people find their passion in Music as I found mine over 25 years ago.
