About Elizabeth
As a Spanish student in Guatemala, I was immersed completely in the language by taking part in one-on-one lessons with a Guatemalan native, as well as living with a host family. While there, I read select articles from their newspaper, Prensa Libre, and translated those articles for my fellow colleagues. I also discovered the country through day and weekend trips, including walking through Mayan ruins and doing textile weaving. I now have a better understanding of the Guatemalan culture and Spanish language.

My lessons will consist mainly of conversation, along with reading and writing exercises. I mostly teach Spanish specialized in medical terms, but I also teach other specialties. I teach anywhere from basic to advanced Spanish, but I am not completely fluent.
