About Ashley
Hello! I’m a qualified Social Worker with a BA (Hons) in Social Work from the University of Stirling, graduating in 2016. I have worked in statutory adult social work for the past 10 years, supporting adults with a wide range of needs while developing extensive knowledge of social work practice, legislation, and professional standards.
In 2021, I became a qualified Practice Educator, a role I have found incredibly rewarding. I genuinely enjoy supporting students to develop their confidence, knowledge, and professional skills throughout their placements and studies. Seeing students grow and achieve their goals is one of the most fulfilling aspects of my career.
I decided to offer tutoring because I understand that social work training can be challenging, and having the right support can make a real difference. Whether you need help with assignments, reflective writing, placement preparation, or linking theory to practice, I provide a friendly, supportive, and personalised approach to help you succeed. My goal is to create a positive learning environment where you feel encouraged, supported, and empowered to reach your full potential.

I offer personalised, supportive tutoring for social work students and newly qualified social workers. As a qualified Practice Educator, I can help with coursework, reflective practice, placement preparation and support, critical analysis, report writing, and building confidence in applying theory to practice. Every lesson is tailored to your individual learning needs and goals, whether you’re preparing for an assignment, developing your practice skills, or working towards a successful placement. My aim is to provide a friendly, encouraging environment where you feel supported to achieve your full potential.
