About Shane
I am passionate about teaching and have plans of going to grad school for a master's in math education to hopefully teach at the high school level. But I also love movies and received a degree in film, both in making and studying it, in order to broaden/diversify my academic journey as well as pursue a career in writing.

I teach all levels and ages up to high school. I use inquiry-based learning which engages students by making real-world connections through exploration and high-level questioning. However, I will adjust to all learning styles and different student needs. But from my experience, inquiry-based learning is the most rewarding, rigorous, and internalized.
