About Daniel

Hello, everyone. My name is Mr. Daniel Osawe, and I am thrilled to be your Business Studies teacher.

I want to share a little about who I am and why I’m here. I studied Accounting at Tai Solarin University of Education, which is where I learned that business isn't just about numbers and theories — it’s about how the world actually works. After graduating, I didn’t just stop learning. I earned my certificate in Business Studies because I wanted to understand how to take those big, complex ideas and break them down in a way that makes sense for students just like you.

I have had the privilege of teaching in both international schools and a sixth-form college, so I have worked with students at different stages of their journey. But the reason I stand here today isn't just because of my certificates or my past jobs. It’s because of a promise I made to myself a long time ago: to make sure my students don't just memorise a textbook, but actually understand the subject and believe in their own ability.

I teach because I have seen the look on a student's face when a difficult concept finally "clicks." I teach because the students I have presented for exams in the past didn't just pass — they excelled. And seeing them succeed is the greatest reward I could ever ask for.

My goal here is simple: to guide you, to challenge you, and to make sure that when exam season comes, you walk into that hall with confidence. I am not just here to give you notes; I am here to help you build a foundation for your future, whether that’s in business, finance, or beyond.

So, let's work hard, ask questions, and have a great time learning together. I am looking forward to this journey with each one of you.

About the lesson

My teaching philosophy is built on the belief that complex concepts in Business don't have to be intimidating. I focus on creating a judgement-free zone where questions are encouraged and confusion is addressed immediately. I tailor every session to your unique learning style, using real-world examples and case studies to bridge the gap between textbook theory and practical application. Whether we are breaking down the intricacies of double-entry bookkeeping or analysing corporate strategy, my goal is to build your confidence step by step. Together, we will identify your weak spots, create a structured plan to master them, and develop the exam techniques needed to achieve the top grades you’re capable of. Let's turn your academic challenges into your greatest strengths
