About Seul Woo
I once struggled with vocal nodules, so I deeply understand the challenges singers face with tension and vocal fatigue. Through years of vocal study and recovery, I developed healthy techniques that now help my students find freedom in their high notes and natural resonance. My teaching blends empathy, precision, and artistic expression because I know that a strong voice begins with trust and awareness, not just sound.

Teaching Method and Techniques My teaching focuses on building a healthy and flexible vocal technique through breath support, resonance control, and body awareness. I help students identify and release vocal tension, especially for those struggling with high notes or throat strength. Each lesson deals with technical exercises, musical phrasing, and expressive interpretation to develop both the voice and the artistry behind it. Typical Lesson Plan A typical lesson begins with physical and vocal warm-ups to establish breath connection and relaxation. We then move to targeted vocal exercises addressing each student’s technical goals (range expansion, tone clarity, endurance, etc.). The second half of the lesson focuses on repertoire exploring style, diction, and emotional delivery. The repertoire is not only classical voice but also other genres (musical theatre, pop, kpop) I also include brief reflection or feedback sessions to help students understand their own progress What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor I combine classical voice method with a creative and empathetic teaching style. My background in both performance and music education allows me to connect technique with expressive meaning, helping students not only sing better but also communicate deeply through music. I prioritize individualized feedback, emotional awareness, and sustainable vocal habits rather than quick fixes Who the Lessons Are For My lessons are designed for students of all levels, from beginners seeking healthy vocal basics to advanced singers preparing for auditions, competitions, or professional performances. I also work with students from academic music programs who wish to integrate technical mastery with interpretive depth.
