About Ellie
Hi, my name is Ellie and I have recently graduated from the University of Bristol studying History.
I achieved an A* in my History A level, not through talent but through determination, working smarter not harder by understanding the mark scheme, and balancing my revision with my social life.
History is a fascinating and enjoyable subject and I hope to break down the content with you, making it manageable and giving you confidence going forward into your exams.

My typical lesson length is one hour. I tailor my tutoring to each child, understanding where their strengths lie in order to focus on where they tend to lose marks in their essays.
Content is key to my teaching but is equally as important as teaching and repeating revision techniques, creating revision materials and writing paragraphs and essays during the lesson.
My technique focuses on building your child's ability to revise effectively and understand the marking criteria.
I worked as a Mathematics tutor for three years so have experience in teaching and communication. I have graduated from the University of Bristol with Second Class Honours in History and achieved an A* in my History A level.
My lessons are for either GCSE or A level History students
