About Amy
Having recently gone through the university application process in Cambridge, I am keen to demystify it as much as possible. I was helped and encouraged by a tutor in university admissions when I applied, and would love to give the same help to other students. Tutoring for me is less about telling students exactly what to do, and more about understanding their strengths and helping them gain the confidence they may be lacking in the unfamiliar area of university applications.

As all my students will be university applicant age, lesson plans will be discussed with them in advance and tailored to any specific questions and concerns raised. Typically, a lesson may involve discussing past examination questions, or a mock interview designed by myself as someone with recent personal experience of the interview process. Students will be able to guide what is discussed in lessons and we will work together to devise a lesson structure which works for them as individuals. As someone diagnosed with ADHD while at university, I am very aware of the need to adjust lesson planning to different learning styles and strengths.
