About Alec
I have a strong foundation in studio art and was honored to make the Dean’s List for my work. I studied under an illustration professor who has worked for Marvel, which gave me valuable industry insights. I’ve also had the opportunity to sell paintings priced between $200 and $1200 and have exhibited my work in galleries. With experience in both academic drawing and the professional art world, I can help students improve their skills and develop their own artistic style at their own pace. I was also an art teacher for grades K-5th. I also have a certificate in environmental drawing. I can teach you about perspective as well as composition, and color theory.

My lessons focus on building a strong foundation in studio art, starting with fundamental drawing techniques such as gesture, proportion, contour, and shading. Depending on the student’s skill level and goals, I incorporate studies in anatomy, perspective, and composition to enhance their artistic development. I also emphasize creative expression while maintaining technical accuracy, helping students refine their style through structured exercises and personalized feedback.
