About Emma
I am a music graduate with a BMus and an MA from the University of Hull, and I have a huge passion for teaching music.
I offer Clarinet and saxophone lessons, as well as music theory lessons.
I am also available to help any students with composition pieces for school/college.
Whilst studying my primary focus was music composition, with a focus on contemporary classic composition - if you are interested in any lessons with music composition I would also be open to this, please feel free to message me.

Clarinet and saxophone lessons will be 1 hour long minimum, as this gives ample opportunity to go through everything needed. Within the lesson, we go over scales, arpeggios alongside our studies and musical works. During these lessons, we will go over basic music theory, but in-depth music theory would and does require full lessons alone.
Within musical exams and aural(singing test) is a requirement, so time would also be set aside during some lessons for this, if the pupil wants to take an exam.
Music theory lessons are also 1 hour long minimum, and students will need specific textbooks/workbooks for this.
All lessons will require homework/practice to be completed between lessons, which are once a week.
