About Ivory

I have completed my teaching degree with an emphasis in Secondary Mathematics. The past few years I’ve been teaching Special Education. I’ve taught students struggling with basic adding and multiplication how to still master skills such as adding fractions, finding GCFs, LCMs, and so on. I love teaching higher mathematics as well and appreciate a good challenge in finding new ways to break concepts down in an understandable way.

About the lesson

Do fractions just not make any sense? Is Algebra just not clicking? Does Math feel too abstract and almost like a foreign language? I am confident I can help you make sense of it all! I love to explain different concepts in different ways and discuss your thoughts and ideas until you finally reach that wonderful “aha” moment. Let’s work through it together!
