About Lauren
Hello! My name is Lauren, and I’m a passionate advocate for environmental justice and marine science. I graduated from the University of Idaho with a degree in Ecology and Conservation Biology and a minor in Wildlife Resources. As an early career professional, I’ve built experience across a variety of organizations, developing skills in research, wildlife rehabilitation, project management, curriculum design, and education. I’ve also had the privilege of working with youth, which has deepened my commitment to creating engaging and meaningful learning experiences. I believe education is a powerful tool for change, and I hope to inspire the next generation to explore science, stay curious, and become active stewards of our planet.

I lead with a holistic approach understanding that not every student learns in the same way. I try and center students' existing knowledge and work as a support system for students to build upon their existing knowledge and also build confidence. In my day job, I work as a program coordinator focused on supporting youth in 6th-10th grade. I also manage a youth social media team of 4 interns. Here to support your goals!
