About Samantha
I am Samantha Jordan Hendrickson, a second year grad student at UIUC. I have been practicing Spanish since seventh grade, and I completed enough credits for a Spanish Dual Degree. However, I did not declare the second degree so I have the title of Spanish Minor. I still practice daily through my reading and writing skills. I speak with my peers as often as I can. Additionally, I have taught for 2 years, so I am well versed in how to teach different learners. Throughout my life, I have volunteered in various settings where Spanish was required. all in all, I would love to share my knowledge as well as learn from you.

We will recombine reading, writing, and speaking in a fun way to help you remember new language skills. Exercises include listening to songs/podcasts, memory pneumonics, and journaling about our life. I think one of the best ways to learn a language is to live you life and add Spanish in at whatever level and artistry you can! This can be supplemental to classes you are taking, or we can curate a more traditional practicing setting. Overall, I am here to help promote your confidence and skill level for speaking, reading, and writing in the everyday setting.
