About Dan

Hello, my name is Tina. I have been living and studying in Melbourne for over four years. I was born in China and I speak Mandarin and Cantonese fluently. I recently graduated from the University of Melbourne with a bachelor’s degree. I enjoy talking with people and teaching, and I have experience teaching my friends Chinese and Math. I would like to explore teaching as my second career. I make learning easy and enjoyable, and I also share the culture behind the language. About the lesson

I help students improve their Chinese in a simple and enjoyable way. My lessons focus on speaking, listening, and building confidence in real-life communication.

In my class, we use interactive methods such as conversations, daily topics, and practical exercises to make learning engaging and effective. I also share cultural insights, so you can not only learn the language but also understand the culture behind it.

If you’d like, we can also explore Chinese songs as a fun part of the lesson. I play the guitar and have been practicing singing for over three years, which can make learning more enjoyable and creative.

I also offer HSK preparation lessons for students who are interested in Chinese proficiency exams and want to achieve their academic or personal goals.
