About Karra
Hello, My name is Karra Garrett and I currently teach Honors Biology at Shelbyville Central High School. I will be starting my seventh year as an educator and thoroughly enjoy what I do! I received a Bachelor’s of Science from Middle Tennessee State University; furthermore, I have also obtained a Master’s of Science in Education from the University of Tennessee Martin. Teaching has always been a passion of mine; therefore, I strive to develop a memorable, meaningful learning environment.

I strive to make my lessons hands on and individualized to the needs of my students. It is crucial to keep in mind everyone has a unique learning style; therefore, the lesson needs to be molded for the student. My lessons are geared towards middle or high school students. I have seven years of experience teaching Biology and Physical Science in a high school setting.
