About Sydney
While growing up, I danced in a pre-professional dance company throughout middle school and high school while also participating in studio/recital dance and competition dance. I decided to pursue dance in college... I started with a double major with Dance and Kinesiology, which has inspired my passion for overall health, dancer rehabilitation, and optimizing the body. I teach and practice many styles including hip hop, contemporary, jazz, modern, ballet, musical theatre, heels, cardio dance, and have trained in various Latin and West African styles.

My teaching method is focused on fostering joy and allowing students to be authentic movers. I build rigor in both the body and mind, as I feel both are important and are used to make progress in and out of dance spaces. I love building community and collaborating with anyone and everyone.
