About Rachel
I am a professional singer and mother of five who found music as a way of escapism. Originally I planned a career in speech therapy only to realise my love of performance. I studied an accelerated degree at the Wales International Academy of Voice and haven’t looked back with performance experience including the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, CBSO and more. I currently teach at one of Cardiff's top private schools and from my home. As someone who suffered hugely with performance nerves and has a collagen defect which led to vocal dysfunction, I have a special interest in helping those with vocal rehab issues using my speech therapy studies to enhance lessons ensuring the healthiest approach to singing.

I tailor lessons to suit the needs of the individual with a strong emphasis on enjoyment. Working together we can tackle vocal technique, work towards exams, prepare for gigs/auditions or fulfil a lifelong ambition to sing/play freely with confidence. All styles covered from pop to opera - I am a classically trained vocalist with a passion for music theatre and more contemporary styles. If you’re someone who has been struggling with feeling tight/hoarse after sessions, a professional, or simply wanting to sing for enjoyment and stress relief, I’ve got you covered.
