About Roisin
I am 24 years old, and I have always loved langauges. I always had a natural grasp of the Irish language, coming from a Gaeltacht area and as soon as I got the opportunity to study French as well when I got to secondary school I picked it up very fast and became enamoured with the language. I chose to do a dual degree in college, studying French language, law and literature alongside my primary law degree, and spent a year living and studying in France, during which I really became emersed in the language and even developed a Montpellier accent! I received an Award from the Kerry Education and Training Board for excellence in languages and the arts, due to my high performance in French, Irish, English and Music in the leaving cert. I was also awarded Title of College Scholar in UCC, due to my academic results in law and in French. I love speaking French whenever the opportunity arises and it is something I want to continue into the future.

I am an excellent communicator and a great listener. I charge nothing for the first lesson, where I will listen to your concerns and goals and make a personalised plan with you to help you do your best. I understand what it is like to be overwhelmed with work and study and so I endeavour to make the time spend during the lesson some of the most valuable time of your week, so that you can learn from me without getting extra work throughout the week. Generally lessons last an hour, but this completely depends on the student, and I am flexible to the students needs. Some students learn more in 45 minutes than they do in an hour due to different concentration and learning types and so the class duration and format will all be discussed during the free introduction lesson.
