About Helena
I am a recent Master of Research graduate in Ecology and Environmental Biology from the University of Glasgow. My niche is fish biology and I conducted my masters research on how fish sleep at night! My passions lie in ecology, zoology and environmental biology, and these are my favourite things to teach!

I teach biology in a friendly and accessible way, which can be tailored to meet the student's needs. My usual method of teaching involves covering content via power-points, working though past paper questions together, and finding study skills which could help you in the future.
I teach high school (11-18) students, and I am adept in tutoring in preparation for GCSEs, A-levels, Highers and Advanced Highers.
I typically teach lessons of 45 minutes-1 hour, however I can be flexible- I understand that everyone has different capacities for concentration and may need shorter sessions or longer sessions with more breaks!
I have been tutoring for one year, helping students prepare for Scottish Higher exams.
