I have worked with many age groups in the past from K-12. I have also been a substitute teacher for a few years. I have volunteered in KUMON as well. I am professional and kind, and want what is best for the student.

My lessons are designed on an individual basis. As we go through our first session I gauge and assess the needs of the student and listen to what they need help with the most. Additionally, as I go through my classes I follow a "teach one do one" format, where I teach and then have them work through a problem and explain the logic to help them better understand the "why" behind the answer. I am very patient with my students and I use techniques of associative learning and at times mnemonics to better grasp concepts that may be trickier. I am dedicated to teaching my students in a way that is best for them and results in the best outcome in grades and understanding.
