About Chris
I graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and am a native Korean speaker. Over the past four years, I have worked as a private tutor, teaching Korean, ACT preparation, mathematics, and physics to students of various ages and skill levels. Through this experience, I have developed a patient, adaptable teaching style that helps students build confidence and achieve their learning goals. Whether you're just starting to learn Korean or looking to improve your fluency, I'm committed to creating lessons that are engaging, supportive, and tailored to your individual needs.

As a native Korean speaker, I tailor each lesson to the student's goals, whether they want to improve conversational Korean, reading, writing, pronunciation, or prepare for travel or exams. My lessons typically involve learning new concepts through interactive practice and real-life examples, with plenty of opportunities to speak and ask questions. I focus on creating a relaxed, encouraging environment where students can build confidence while making steady progress. My lessons are suitable for beginners through intermediate learners of all ages, and I adapt the pace and content to each student's individual needs and learning style!
