With extensive formal training and real-world performance experience, I bring a deep and well-rounded foundation to saxophone and music instruction. I have completed over 200 credit hours in university-level School of Music coursework, including four semesters each of aural theory, music theory, music history, and class piano, along with five years of music education-specific training.

I offer personalized saxophone lessons designed to help students build strong fundamentals while learning to play music they enjoy. Lessons are tailored to each student’s goals—whether that’s reading music, developing tone and technique, or playing in school band or for fun.
We will cover:
* Proper embouchure and breath support
* Tone production and sound quality
* Reading music and rhythm skills
* Scales, articulation, and finger technique
* Song learning across genres (classical, jazz, pop, and more)
* Practice strategies for steady improvement
My teaching approach is structured but flexible, focusing on building confidence, consistency, and musicality at a comfortable pace. Lessons are suitable for beginners with no experience as well as students looking to strengthen their playing.
