About Mary
I started painting in oils in 1980. Living in Vermont I had a tremendous amount of charming landscapes to draw from. Without any formal schooling, I was selling my paintings. In 1997 I graduated from the Fine Art College at the University of Utah. In 2004 I established my own art gallery, South Beach Gallery, in Gold Beach, Oregon. This was where I learned seascapes. Since 2011 I have been retired and focusing only on my art. I have decided to teach as a means to share this wonderful ability of painting and drawing.
