About Melissa
My name is Melissa Bazan, currently a pre-k bilingual assistant. I’ve currently had this position for 10 years already.Also, I’m currently working on my Masters in Education Technology at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Expect it to graduate this December. I live in Rio Grande City, Texas, close to the border with Mexico. I know both languages very well.

Im currently a bilingual pre-k assistant, and I’ll try to work with you as smooth as possible.Try to make lessens fun, but at the same time you going to be learning. Planned, scheduled, and carried out Pre-K lesson plans aligned with Common Core State Standards, geared to meet students’ instructional level
Collaborated with lead teacher to provide bilingual instruction to students
Created positive behavior management plan actively engaging students to limit behavior issues, using variety of techniques to fit situation and child when challenges arose
Regarded for providing prompt and explicit feedback to parents in regards to student performance
