About Braheem
Braheem Baylor Jr. is a dedicated and aspiring educator with a strong passion for history and social studies. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in History with a Social Studies Teaching Certification at West Chester University of Pennsylvania, where he has also minored in African American Studies. Braheem has gained practical experience as a student teacher at Octorara Junior-Senior High School, where he designed and executed engaging instructional sessions tailored to diverse learning needs. His approach to teaching emphasizes inclusivity, the seamless integration of technology, and the creation of a positive and collaborative classroom environment.
In addition to his student teaching experience, Braheem has served as an aftercare teacher at Mary C. Howse Elementary School, where he developed daily activities to maximize student engagement and manage classroom behavior effectively. His experience also includes proctoring exams for students with special education requirements at West Chester University, where he implemented various accommodation methods to support their success.
