About London
Hello! I’m a mom of three, including two boys who are in 1st and 2nd grade, so I understand the joys and challenges of supporting young learners. With two years of experience as a substitute teacher in the public school system, I have gained valuable insights into effective teaching strategies and classroom dynamics. Last year, I took on the role of a degreed tutor within the school system, where I further honed my skills in helping students succeed.
I am dedicated to education and passionate about inspiring children to love learning. My approach is patient and supportive, ensuring that each student feels confident and motivated. I believe in creating a positive and engaging environment where all students can thrive.
I’m excited to share my expertise and enthusiasm for English with your child, helping them build a strong foundation for their academic journey!

A typical lesson includes:

Introduction (10 minutes): Introduce a new topic (e.g., a literary device) using a video or story.
Guided Practice (15 minutes): Collaborate on identifying the device in texts.
Independent Practice (15 minutes): Students create their own examples in a writing exercise.
Closure (5 minutes): Reflect and share insights.
