About Dezhinette
I love when my students get wrong answers because it challenges me as a teacher/tutor becasue that means that I (or previous teachers) have not found a way to explain it to you in a way that makes sence and provided you with the appropriate time to practice and master skills.
Everyone can learn as long at those who are teaching us help us learn in a way that we can retain the information.

I have years of experience in teaching prek-12th as a classroom teacher, substitute, and coach. My passion for individualizing lessons to meet the learner where they are at and providing scaffolding to build their skills helps me to ensure my teaching and style are flexible to the individual learner.
In teaching I tend to combine as many different styles as I can (ex: kinesthetic, visual, audio) into each lesson which helps to set me apart from most teachers who tend to teach at their pace and in the way that they are comfortable which does not always meet the needs of individual students.
During lessons it typically takes a structure of instruction, model, practice with me, individual practice, and reflect.

This first lesson offered with Dezhinette will allow you to get to know each other and clearly specify your needs for your next lessons.

Details
The flat rate is $40 per hour no matter what form the session takes place (in person/online). In addition to I charge a $1 per mile that I have to travel.
I also charge for some materials depending on price if I have to provide them (such as materials for science experiments, or other materials that have a one time use). This is not common.
