Hello, and welcome!

My name is Rohit, and I am passionate about helping students unlock their potential and achieve their academic goals. With a strong foundation in STEM subjects and a proven ability to simplify complex ideas, I aim to make learning both engaging and accessible.

I bring hands-on experience from working in healthcare settings, where clear communication and problem-solving were essential. As a recipient of the Peter Doherty Award for excellence in STEM, I understand the dedication and curiosity it takes to excel in academics.

I am here to guide you, whether you're preparing for exams, catching up on challenging topics, or aiming to boost your confidence in a subject. My lessons are tailored to suit your learning style, ensuring a supportive, focused, and inspiring environment.

About the lesson

I tailor each session to the individual learning style and pace of the student, ensuring they feel comfortable and supported. I encourage active participation through questions, discussions, and practical exercises to make learning interactive and enjoyable. I break down challenging concepts into manageable parts using real-life examples and visual aids when necessary. Rather than simply providing answers, I guide students to think critically and solve problems independently. I regularly check for understanding and adjust my teaching methods based on the student’s progress.
Lessons will typically run for around 1 hour, depending on the student’s attention span and the complexity of the material. For younger students or introductory topics, sessions may be shorter.
I have had experience in tutoring and assisting Junior School kids with their academics at my local school in the past, so I have built quite a few strategies to tackle problems which students regularly encounter so that they can make meaningful progress in their studies. Furthermore, I’ve worked in healthcare settings, including a nursing home and GP clinic, which honed my communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. I have a strong foundation in STEM education, recognized by the Peter Doherty Award for excellence in STEM as a high school student. I am expected to attain a 95+ ATAR.
My lessons are suitable for students from Year 1 to Year 10, particularly those needing help with STEM subjects, English or foundational skills. I cater to learners seeking to improve their understanding or prepare for exams. This structured approach ensures that every student receives personalized and effective support to achieve their academic goals.

Bableen has great foundations in her mathematics. She has a great interest in her studies and an astounding ability to problem solve difficult questions. Her mental maths abilities are quite could and she's generally able to solve equations quite easily. Improvements can be made when solving algebraic questions and especially those in a word format or those which she has not seen before. Apart from that, she was excellent in this class and I look forward to working with her in the future
