I love watching my students develop a passion for music. I also find so much joy in helping people improve and make breakthroughs with their music and knowledge. Teaching is a real passion for me and I know that I provide a safe and professional environment for students to learn.

In my opinion music should be fun. Whether you are preparing for exams or just learning a new skill, you should have fun doing it! I like to focus on tone colours and finding the story behind the music that my students are playing/singing. I find that this not only lets my students use their imagination, but also means that their pieces sound more exciting and engaging. I also have lots of exercises to help make technical essentials like scales more fun to learn. I can change my teaching style to suit the student in front of me, depending on their individual needs and learning style. I have teaching experience with all ages, from 8 years old to 30 years old, so am very flexible with lesson lengths, time and style.
