Hi there! I’m Jacky Semon, your dedicated tutor. I’m a current certified substitute teacher in Pennsylvania with a passion for personal, educational, and professional development. My major was Elementary Education at High Point University where I graduated Magna Cum Laude. I am a big proponent of guided instruction. First, I will facilitate learning by modeling and implementing. My students will take this time to ask questions and receive clarifications. Next, I allow my students to practice applying the skills together and then independently. This allows for the alignment of what the I want my students to do, and how they are supported in the tasks.
