About Phillip
I have a pedigree of general knowledge in History. I read prodigiously History books. To keep me up to date with the ever changing interpretations of History, I also subscribe BBC History and History Today magazines monthly. I love watching History Documents on TV. In fact I am probably a History bore. However, I am applauded by many in expressing my knowledge of History in an entertaining and light-hearted proposition. I like to engage each historical feature with amusing articulation, but at the same time achieve the serious ambition of improving the learner's knowledge of History.

1:1online lessons via Zoom.
Lesson plans will start with refreshing from previous lesson. Then I will introduce the lesson's current feature. Then I will give the pupil opportunity to do some independent learning. Finally the lesson will be concluded with a plenary of the current feature.
Levels of learning will obviously be dependent on the student's capability and capacity to learn. Every pupil is different, so working along to their individual's strength is paramount. Progress will be defined as fast or slow as the pupil is able to learn. Most importantly, the pupil is able to enjoy the lessons. I take pride in being able to engage the lessons with empathy and fun.
