About Alyssa
I graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) with a Bachelors degree in Financial Mathematics and Statistics and then undertook a PGCE at Warwick University. Before which I studied both Maths and Further Maths at A-Level and of course Maths at GCSE. I was the first year to study and sit GCSE exams with the 9-1 grading system so I have a good understanding of how to help you prepare.
I have a genuine interest in Maths so I bring lot's of enthusiasm to my lessons to make things more interesting and engaging as well as a friendly face so if you'd like some extra support please get in touch and I'd be happy to help.

I've had lot's of experience over the last few years tutoring students of different levels, ages and exam boards and my main focus is always to build your mathematical confidence and make sure you are comfortable with me as that's how you will learn best. These sessions would be tailored to you and your individual goals and areas you would like to work on as well as things we identify together as we go. Questions are always welcomed and encouraged, if you don't understand something please let me know it's my job to keep finding new ways to explain things until we find a way that works for you for that topic.
