About Elena
I am an American living in the Netherlands, and a recent graduate of a Bachelor's degree program in Applied Mathematics at the University of Groningen (Groningen NL). I I have been through the AP system in both Calculus AB and BC, I have also completed Maths through the British system as well as two levels of Physics. As a result of my studies I have cultivated expertise in all fundamental college and lower-level mathematics subjects.
I believe what sets me apart as a tutor is that I have usually needed to endure struggle in order to achieve understanding of a mathematics subject, and I can therefore sympathize with the struggles of a student. I also know for this reason that anyone can master a mathematics subject with determination and the right learning environment.

Understanding complex mathematical concepts has always been a rewarding and satisfying experience for me, and I am always enthusiastic to provide this same experience to students through my tutoring sessions. I strive to provide a patient and deliberate teaching style. I can assist you/your child in any mathematics subjects. I am available to all ages and levels.
In my lessons, we can review assignments or discuss topics that need explaining. The time is yours. I spend time preparing before my lessons, whether it be to try your assignment questions myself or review the topics to be discussed, in order to be an efficient tutor and make the most use of your lesson time.
