About Zain
Hi! I’m Zain, and I’m passionate about helping students understand the fascinating worlds of maths and physics. I’ve always been curious about how things work- why objects move the way they do, how numbers can describe the universe, and how we can use logic to solve real problems. That curiosity led me to study mechanical engineering, and now I enjoy passing that knowledge on to others. I want to teach because I know how frustrating it can be to feel lost in class or to think you’re “just not good” at a subject. I don’t believe that for a second. With the right explanation and a bit of support, anyone can grasp complex ideas and even enjoy the challenge. Teaching isn’t just about transferring information, it’s about inspiring confidence, building skills, and helping you realise what you’re capable of. Whether you want to boost your grades, prepare for exams, or just finally make sense of a tricky topic, I’m here to help you every step of the way.

My approach to tutoring is centred around understanding. I believe every student can succeed in maths and physics if the concepts are explained in a way that makes sense to them. That means adapting my teaching style to suit each student’s learning pace, background, and goals. I always begin by identifying any gaps in foundational knowledge, because a strong base is essential, especially in subjects that build on previous concepts like algebra, mechanics, or electricity. Once we establish that base, we tackle new material using a step-by-step method, blending clear explanations, real-life applications, and plenty of practice. I make use of diagrams, analogies, and simple examples to make abstract ideas more tangible. Whether you’re preparing for exams, need help with homework, or want to deepen your understanding of a topic, I’ll tailor the lessons to match your needs. I also emphasise problem-solving techniques and critical thinking, skills that serve you well beyond the classroom. Above all, I aim to create a friendly, patient, and encouraging learning environment where questions are always welcome and confidence can grow.
