About Maxwell
I have always enjoyed helping and teaching others, and therefore it never seems like work to me. I'm a natural listener, so I always seek to understand where the student is at first before jumping into any explanations. I'm serious about my knowledge and skills in the subjects, but like to keep a light-hearted atmosphere when tutoring, as these subjects can be very uncomfortable and stressful for students.

Hello, my name is Max, and I believe I can be the BEST ACADEMIC TUTOR for you! Born and raised in Gilbert Arizona, with interests in sports, music, movies, and reading.
I began tutoring as a freshman in high school, and now have over 18 years of tutoring experience in a variety of courses/subjects, including math, physics and engineering!
I earned my BS in Engineering Science from Arizona State University. I was also a student in the, Dean's List, several honor societies, and graduated with honors. I was a peer tutor for the university and aided students in many of the math, science, and engineering courses.
I have tutored students of all ages to improved grades in algebra, physics, trigonometry, geometry and calculus. I use a patient and tailored approach with each student to figure out what learning method works best!
