About Patrick

I am currently a second year medical student at the University of Manchester, having already achieved a 2:1 in Medicinal Chemistry BSc. I have previous experience tutoring GCSE level science and maths, and have seen improvements from grade 4 to 7 in my previous GCSE students. Aside from studying, I play for Manchester Medic’s Football Team weekly through university, as well as having a keen interest in music. I am a grade 8 drummer and a confident pianist - I also tutor drum lessons if science becomes a bit too much!

About the lesson

My lessons are interactive, focusing on improving exam technique in accordance with the relevant exam board. I am an experienced student as well as tutor, having graduated with a 2:1 in Medicinal Chemistry at the University of Leeds, and now studying medicine at the University of Manchester. I therefore know the challenges of being a student, working to deadlines and preparing for exams. Lessons will last for one hour (feel free to request more if you need!) and will follow exam board textbooks and worked examples with all the explanations you need!

Perfect! Patrick has a calm and focused approach. He came to our house and brought resources. He explained things really well and in a few different ways to help me understand the bigger picture so I could answer the questions myself. It is so useful to have one-on-one as I sometimes get lost in class.
