About Abby
I am a current graduate medical student with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and STS. I have previously worked at an after-school tutoring center for 5 years, followed by 3 years at a collegiate math tutoring center, where I focused on subjects ranging from Algebra to Differential Equations. I have also done 2 years of freelance tutoring, working with students of all ages in a variety of math subjects to help them excel in their personal educational goals, and I am excited to help you do the same!

I am excited to get to know you as a learner and adapt my teaching style to your unique strengths!
I have experience teaching all different ages (ages K-12, college) and will create a personalized tutoring schedule for you that takes into account your knowledge base as well as your goals (exams, quizzes, etc).
A typical lesson plan with me includes a few minutes of review in the beginning, dedicated time to learn a new topic/ chapter, etc with lots practice in between. I believe that tutoring sessions need to be interactive to be effective, so I try to limit lecturing time and get students as involved in the learning as possible! I am open to feedback and would be happy to incorporate what helps you learn best into future lessons!
