Biology is the study of life. There’s literally billions of cells each with its own function supporting your life as one whole unit. Without your respiratory system working correctly you wouldn’t be breathing right now. Without your nervous system working correctly now how would you think and make important decisions in your life right now. Without the ecology of nature how would any of us exist, right now? So how does it work? By using the principles of scientific method, chemistry, and physics we can explore the mysteries of the inner-verse. But we can’t stop there, what about on the macro level, there are literally billions of humans we live next to that each call this little speck of dust in the wide universe, home, so how did we get here? And are there things in our social environment that support or not support our well being and overall health? Using the principles of the social determinants of health, we can use epidemiology and statistics to give us a rough sketch of the big picture.
