Summer was my voice professor at Bowling Green State University for one semester while my regular voice prof was on sabatical. I made incredible progress under her instruction, and in a very small amount of time. Summer is a real vocal technician and has a very eloquent and easily digestable way of explaining how the voie works. She also stepped in during the semester of my graduate recital and she never missed a beat and helped me prepare for this big milestone seamlessly and with great care. She is also such a genuinely kind and support teacher and my lessons with her were usually my favorite hour of the week. She will be dearly missed at BG and by me!

Summer is an incredibly kind, gifted teacher. I am so grateful to have been able to spend the last few months learning from her. I came to Summer with a lot of tension and some bad singing habits. Within just the first few lessons, the warm-ups and other tools Summer gave me to work on these issues started to show positive results. I've worked as Summer's vocal studio accompanist since 2016. She is one of THE best vocal teachers I've ever known. Her extensive knowledge of the voice, musical genres, and vocal repetoire make her the ideal teacher. She is also patient and kind, and sensitive to the needs of each student. Summer produces singers who have had sung on Broadway, in major opera houses and concert halls, and film and tv. Highly recommended.

Summer is such an incredible vocal coach/trainer and person. She is the most encouraging, talented, and qualified person I have met and I cannot recommend her enough. She is a such a warm, engaged and supportive teacher and I have grown so so much in the past two years I have had her. Anyone would be lucky to work with her!
