About Dana
I am a graduate of Utah Valley University and teach general music at Noah Webster Academy where I also teach group violin lessons. I started violin in the 5th grade and viola in the 9th grade. I have seven children and one grandchild and also speak some Spanish and tutor in that language as well.

I emphasize Kodaly music theory along with technique. I use a method developed by Cynthia Richards called the Complete Musician. This helps student not just to play well but understand the music which helps musician to better improvise and play by ear rather than just read written music.
